Description: Swing through/switch flips is a skill I’ve wanted for the longest time but stayed away due to knee pain and a poor mind state. To those unfamiliar, A switch means landing on the take off leg, enabling you to swing through into your second flip. I broke it down into progressions 1. Backflips- have a strong Backflip and gainer flip 2. Flash kick- being able to split the legs mid flip, enabling landing in one leg. 3. Backflip and land one leg. Simply flash, but stick the backflip on one leg. 4. Backflip off one leg with a j, pivot or standing by swinging. 5. Combine 3 and 4, backflipping off one leg and landing on one leg (your switch flip leg.) 6. Drill it and eventually you’ll feel it after landing in a strong eagle/dip position.
